# Insurance Cover for Assets

Users registering assets on the [The Day By Day Asset Register App](/day-by-day-overview/live-platform/the-day-by-day-asset-register-app.md) will be able to get insurance on the Day By Day platform through NFT policies held by our insurepreneurs.

These insurance customers will choose the assets they want to protect against the events they want protection from and for the time period they want cover for.

The time period will begin from the customer's requested start date once the cover is purchased.
